Terms of use
Last updated: May 2026. These terms apply to the marketing site and general use of Audrey services unless your organisation has a separate agreement (such as an order form, licence, or data processing addendum), in which case that contract prevails where it conflicts with this summary.
1. Acceptance
By accessing auditaudrey.com, requesting a demo, or using the Audrey platform under an account we provide, you confirm that you have authority to bind your organisation (where applicable) and that you agree to these terms and our Privacy policy.
2. The service
Audrey is an internal audit and assurance workspace. Features, modules, and availability may differ by plan, region, or deployment model. We may update the service for security, compliance, or operational reasons; we will give reasonable notice where a change materially reduces functionality you rely on under a paid subscription.
3. Accounts and access
You are responsible for credentials, for configuring roles and permissions in line with your policies, and for all activity under your accounts. Notify us promptly at info@auditaudrey.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Acceptable use
You may not misuse Audrey, probe or circumvent security controls without authorisation, upload unlawful content, or use the platform in a way that infringes others' rights or violates applicable law. We may suspend access where necessary to protect users, the service, or to meet legal obligations.
5. AI-assisted features
Where Audrey offers AI-generated drafts, summaries, or suggestions, they are provided to support human judgement—not as legal, audit, or regulatory advice on their own. Your organisation remains responsible for review, sign-off, and the accuracy of work issued in its name, consistent with professional standards that apply to you.
6. Confidentiality and customer data
You retain rights to data you submit. Our handling of personal data and audit content is described in the Privacy policy and, for customers, in your order documentation and any data processing agreement.
7. Intellectual property
Audrey, its branding, and the software are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you the rights necessary to use the service in line with your subscription. Feedback you voluntarily provide may be used to improve the product without obligation to you, excluding your confidential customer content.
8. Warranties
Except where prohibited by law, the service is provided "as is". We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Specific warranties for paying customers, if any, are set out in your order form or master agreement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our aggregate liability arising from these terms or the marketing site is limited to the greater of one hundred pounds sterling or the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
10. Term and suspension
Subscriptions continue for the term stated in your order. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment where applicable, or serious security risk, with notice where reasonable.
11. Governing law
Unless your written agreement with us specifies otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of Johannesburg have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply to you in your home jurisdiction.
12. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and adjust the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the marketing site after changes constitutes acceptance; for contracted services, we will follow the change process in your agreement.
